Technical features
Complete functionality: forward and reverse operation, possibility of tilting the vertical column for propeller maintenance without the need to enter dry dock or haul the vessel.
Variable rotation: the propeller-rudder can rotate from 35°+35° to 360° depending on the model, ensuring superior manoeuvrability in confined spaces.
Proportional control: propulsion units are operated via joysticks that control propeller rotation, rudder direction and engine speed, optimising performance and diesel engine lifespan.
Protection and safety
Specially calibrated safety valves protect the diesel engine and hydraulic system from potential damage caused by accidental propeller blockages. Variable displacement pumps allow diesel engine speed to be optimised and velocity to be regulated by controlling oil flow.
Flexible configurations
Modular installation: the hydraulic pump can be connected to diesel or electric motors and positioned at the desired distance from the propulsion units via rigid or flexible piping..
Multiple controls: controls available both on the propulsion column for maintenance and via portable control station for manoeuvres from optimal positions.
Adjustable immersion: dedicated system to vary propeller immersion even during navigation, optimising thrust or ensuring safety in shallow waters.
Bridge instrumentation
The bridge is equipped with steering joystick, alarm group, rudder angle indicator and propeller immersion indicator for complete system control.
EH Series (35°+35°)
- Calibrated directional control: steering angle limited to 35°+35° for precise and stable manoeuvres, ideal for operations requiring accurate positioning
- Operational versatility: four configurations available with different tilting and vertical travel options
- Facilitated maintenance: possibility of tilting the vertical column up to 45° for inspections and interventions without the need to enter dry dock or haul the vessel
DVM Series (360°)
- Unlimited rotation: complete 360° azimuthal movement for omnidirectional manoeuvrability and total control in confined spaces or during precision operations
- Configurative flexibility: five models with different tilting options and technical characteristics for optimal adaptation to the vessel’s operational specifications
- Operational efficiency: smooth transitions between thrust directions without interruptions, reducing manoeuvring time and increasing safety
